It's main color is Burgundy with a pink underside and darker mouth with legs. It is covered by feathers and has legs similar to an ostrich's, but has the animal's characteristic sickle-claw along with 3 white finger claws under its wings.
Actions.[]
Play: The raptor starts balancing 4 plates in its snout, then trips and falls over and the animation goes on a loop.
Dance: The raptor claps its hands, hits the "woah" then spins while rhythmically wailing its wings in the air
Hop: The raptor impulses itself, hops very high and moves its wings while falling down
Sleep: The raptor curls itself down and moves its tail up and down
Sit: The raptor sits with its legs up front.
Trivia.[]
- This Raptor is generic and does not represent any member of the family Dromaeosauridae. However, it is heavily inspired by Velociraptor mongoliensis.
- Dromaeosaurs first appeared around the middle Jurassic period, surviving until the very end of the Cretaceous, when they were wiped out by the Chicxulub Meteor.
- The oldest known named Dromaeosaur is Dromaeosauroides bornholmensis, dating back to the Early Cretaceous of Denmark.
- Dromaeosaurs are Paravians, which is a widespread Clade of Animals that includes Modern-day Birds.
- It is debated if Dromaeosaurs made packs, some species have stronger evidence for this behavior than others, most likely a big part of Dromaeosaurs were solitary hunters that gathered in small opportunistic groups when the occasion called for it.
- Through CT Scans and studies of their Braincases, it is believed that Dromaeosaurs were some of the smartest non-avian dinosaurs to have ever existed.
