The Jam On Cafe is an ongoing party available in the parties menu, alongside the Adventure Base Camp.
Visiting[]
Jammers can visit the cafe to chill out. A store is available with exclusive items. Unlike the other shops in Jamaa, the Cafe store closes for certain periods of time. Exclusive holdable foods are served. The selection changes when you create food in Cafe Shift mode. The cafe's appearance will vary by which one you select (Enchanted Hollow Cafe, Crystal Sands Cafe, etc.)

Cafe Shift[]
In a cafe, jammers can take shifts to make holdable food. To create the food, ingredients need to be purchased for Cafe Points, which you earn through time playing Animal Jam. A shift ends when the player chooses "Take a Break" or logs out. All earnings in a shift will be saved. When on a shift, a gold tag will appear under the Jammer's name tag that says "Worker", much like the one that says "Host" for jammers hosting Jammer Parties. After making a food item, any ingredients used will need to be purchased again. Creating an already made dish will award gems. To take on a shift, the jammer must find the rack of aprons and click on it. It will ask if the Jammer wants to take on a shift. After accepting, the Jammer will be given a choice to roam or enter the kitchen. The kitchen resembles the one in the Restaurant den. There is a crate to click for purchasing supplies. The stove can be clicked to create dishes. There is an exit sign to click for leaving the kitchen. While outside of the cafe or kitchen on a shift, you can click the Jam On Cafe icon to give you four options: Return to the Kitchen, Go to the Cafe (the one you started your shift in), Take a Break, and Cafe Selection. An icon is on the working Jammer's screen that resembles a red book. This opens a menu titled "Recipe and Offer Book". In the recipe tab, you can buy materials and view what is needed to create a dish. However, you must enter the kitchen to prepare food. In the offers, there are special quests you can do to earn Cafe Points including "Race Day" (Play "Jamaa Derby" x times) and "Swap Meet" (Trade with another Jammer x times). If a quest involves a certain number, you can set your level (for example, Playing Jamaa Derby 5 times, Trading 1 time, etc.). The higher the quest level, the more Cafe Points you earn. Doing tasks for a quest will apply as long as you are on a shift. Tasks outside of shifts will not count towards the quest. When at a cafe during your shift, clicking the apron rack will give you the option to Take a Break or Enter the Kitchen.
